Miscellaneous Information – Suraiya in M. I. Dharamsey’s suspense film Inaam (1955). Majority of Suraiya’s work from the 1950s is not available so I can’t comment on the quality of these films but it looks like she was cast in many suspense/horror/thriller/action films and that includes Lal Kanwar (1952) [horror], Moti Mahal (1952) and Inaam (1955) [suspense], Mr. Lambu (1956) [action] etc.
Inaam had great music by S.N.Tripathi .To my mind,Inaam is the only movie where both the artists worked together.The song ‘Jara Thehro Main Haale Dil Duna Loo,Phir Chale jaana’ was written by Raja Mehndi Ali Khan.
