Miscellaneous Info - Gulshan Ara was an actress active during the formative period of Pakistani film industry. She made her debut in Urdu film Amanat opposite Darpan in 1950. She is best remembered as playing the second lead in Pakistan’s first silver jubilee Urdu film Do Ansoo (1950). With the exception of Do Ansoo, the rest of her 9 Urdu films flopped at the box-office. She ended her career in 1955.
